Uh-oh! Pet Grime

The Pooch Factor

puppy driving

If all the of the crud brought in by the kids isn’t enough, add a dog or two along for the ride. Fifi and Fido bring a host of pet dander, fur, dirt, and the potential for unexpected accidents, such as vomit and urine.

It’s more difficult than it sounds, but anyone who has tried to DIY an accidental urine spot from the carpet or another bio-hazardous accident like vomit, knows that a sponge and hot, soapy water will only make it worse!

Normal day-to-day living can wreak havoc on your vehicle’s seats, carpets, and hard plastic surfaces. Over time, your vehicle endures an onslaught of dirt, grass, leaves, mud, asphalt, sand, body sweat, gasoline, food particles, hand oils, grease, juice, and more - not to mention millions of bacteria, germs, and whatever else tracked in by shoes, gym and school bags, clothes, and hands!

Along with school days come the hazards of kid grime for your ride: sticky fingers, dripping ice cream cones, spilled sippy cups, dirty sports equipment, sweaty dance gear, along with a greasy French fry or two, wedged between the seats. The accumulation of fast-food mishaps, sweaty sports gear, dirt, and assorted spills can add up to one big, stinky mess. Not to mention a vague perma-odor that even that little scented pine tree hanging from your rearview doesn’t get rid of.
